I keep company with a lot of ironies in my job, which is to cover the territory where Linux and business overlap. One of the biggest ironies involves licensing. On the one hand, open source and Free Software devotees care deeply about licensing, argue about it all the time. In fact, they can't even agree on what to call Linux (or GNU/Linux, as some prefer). on the other hand, business folks mostly don't care. When you try to explain the differences beween, say, the GPL and the MPL, they look at their watches. "Take it up with Legal" say the thought balloons over their heads.
