First is CC publisher. Ourmedia.org is going to launch this weekend. We're taking that source and point it aqt our collection and extend that metadata to all mediattypes. not just audio and video. W"e're extending it for images and text.

main thing is that it's now pointing at the ourmedia collection, and not just at the Internet Archives collection.

When you just use the normal cc publishing tool, it has to be curated by a hiuman being, and then goes to a pile where ifyhou k,nowo hnow to find it, cool, otherwise, good luck.

We're putting it where everything has its own url, and you hve tools for pointing to it.

ourmedia is an enviornment ofr aritgstws to descuss and share their art. We're attaching cc licenses to media. So if tgo to somebody 's page, there's a whole history ove everything they'v uplaoded.

The reason yo wnat this tool is so that the large media files can be uploaded. You needd a downloaded app that can move the files.

you can upload directly to the website, just not giant files.

a download tool will allow you to upload directly without going through http. You can of course ftp it directly, but how manyh of these artist types are geeky enough to do that.
