White Boxyness

After more years that I care to count, my trusty old Thinkpad has croaked. So I'm in the market for a new laptop, or maybe a netbook. What I'm looking at doesn't matter. What matters is that I've got a choice that includes every laptop that's made. Also every netbook, desktop and other form factor. That's what you get with the combination of Linux and open hardware.
