Qredo is a platform for developers of apps that use a
distributed cryptographic network. In this network, every individual is
sovereign and independent. People get their own secured information Vault, to which only they have any
access. A lightweight, naturally anonymous session-establishment
protocol called Rendezvous
connects individuals in untraceable, persistent, asynchronous, secure
communications, called Conversations.
The Qredo Platform includes services for attribute-based attestation,
so consumers of identity and user data may authenticate it. An employer
can check candidates’ employment history, education and criminal
record; a parent can check a babysitter’s age and references; a lender
can verify an applicant’s income; a barman can get over-age proof.
As a platform component, Qredo Cash enables both a "coin-operated API"
for basic Platform usage and "coin operated apps," which together
enable operators and app publishers to monetize their services and
products on a pay-as-you-go basis
With expert partners, Qredo is building out platform layers to enable
the Industrial Internet of Things, and the Internet of Financial Assets.
Device-based services work with the above componentry to support new
classes of life, business and social applications.
Qredo is an open architecture, and embraces wide-ranging third-party
componentry in identity, attestation, authentication, payments and
other services.
At this writing (December 2014), a number of components to the Qredo
SDK (software development kit) are ready [need qualifying language
